Elks National Foundation 2007-2008 |

|
2007-2008 When PER Jerry Shepard requested me to be Chairman of ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION this past 2007-2008 year I was not sure what ENF was all about. Now a year later I would like to thank him for giving me the opportunity to represent Fulton Lodge in such an important program of the Benevolent and Protective Order Of Elks. Jerry was a truly good leader always with support and with an open mind, ready to advise and assist if needed during the 2007-2008 year. Every member is encouraged to learn about the great things ENF does for our community and for our members, from helping students go to college with scholarships, to helping with our states project (Cerebral Palsy), Drug Awareness, Veterans Services, Special Grants, Hoop Shoot, Soccer Shoot, & Youth Programs. The Elks National Foundation promotes many special and worthwhile causes.
Fulton Lodge # 830 ENF program had a very successful year, we went from last place to first place for the Chairman’s Challenge in District 2 and topped that with also a First place Statewide out of 131 Lodges. We also went from last place (131st.) to fourth place in the per capita donations. Our new ER Chris was presented with 2 first place plaques and 3 certificates at the State Convention. I would like to thank my committee members for their time, effort and support. My co-chairs Joe Firenze & Rene Ormsby who without them we would not have been so successful. Also on |

committee I would like to thank the following members for their help in most all ENF functions Dawn Bristol, Dave Ormsby, Jack Pickard, Louie Firenze, Bonnie Loughrey, Ray Clary, Rick Buske, Jim & Dotty Short & Grandma, Sandy Netzloff, Steve & Donna Baum, Terry Larrabee, Al Crandall, Dave & Vicky Hart, Cathy & Bill McIntyre, Gary & Brenda Ingersol, Mark & Janet Woodworth & Andy Nolett, also the Auxiliary for their help in our Luau Function (our Ladies Auxiliary have been a great support system).
If I forgot anyone I am truly sorry! It seemed that when we needed help there were many that stepped up and helped and it was just an amazing crew we had, and how hard they worked to make all our events successful! From the bottom of my heart Thank - you all again! .
Fulton ENF committee is looking forward to having another successful year so please support 2008-2009 upcoming events. We will try to make them fun for all. Anyone interested in being on committee please contact myself, Joe or Rene.
Sincerely ENF Committee Chairman Debi Firenze
