Drug Awareness Program

The Drug Awareness Program would like to institute a  program that will provide the children within our community school systems with brochures racks to hold the Drug Awareness brochures. This program would provide valuable resources to our community students regarding Drug Awareness.

On Saturday—May 1, 2010 during our May Day Youth event as part of the B.P.O.E. Fulton Lodge #830 Drug Awareness program Officer Lennet C. Whitmore, D.A.R.E.  Officer from the Fulton Police Department was in attendance from 11:30—3:30 p.m. Officer Whitmore serves as the D.A.R.E. Officer in the Fulton School District. Officer Whitmore has been a member of the Fulton Police Department since 2005. She was recognized for being best in her police academy class in physical fitness. Before she joined the Fulton Police, Officer Whitmore served in the Military Police with the U.S. Army. During her service, she received “Soldier of the Month” and “Soldier of the Cycle” commendations.
